Prodigy Dance Conventions Policies & Registration Information

At Prodigy Dance Conventions, we're committed to providing an exceptional experience for every dancer, coach, and studio. To ensure a smooth registration process and the best possible event experience, please review the following policies and guidelines before registering.

Registration & Availability

To maintain a high-quality learning environment, Prodigy limits the number of participants in each room. These capacity limits are designed to provide dancers with an optimal training experience and meaningful interaction with our faculty and coaches.

Registration is subject to availability, and early registration is encouraged to secure participation in your preferred event.

2026–2027 Registration Dates:

• Studio Early Access (with deposit): November 2, 2026

• Dancer Early Access: November 7, 2026

• Public Registration: November 8, 2026

Age Requirements

Prodigy Dance Convention offers specialized training experiences designed for dancers at different stages of their development.

Most Prodigy convention events are intended for dancers ages 12 and older. Prodigy Juniors, a specialized program for dancers ages 7–11, provides younger participants with an experience tailored to their age and skill development.

Age eligibility and program availability may vary by event.

Refunds, Transfers & Event Credits

All registrations for Prodigy Dance Convention are final sale and nonrefundable. Cash refunds are not provided under any circumstances, including injury, illness, medical conditions, scheduling conflicts, travel disruptions, or other unforeseen events. Medical documentation, including a physician's note, does not qualify a participant for a refund.

If a registered dancer is unable to attend, the following alternatives may be available:

Event Transfers: Registrations may be transferred to another Prodigy Dance Convention location within the same season, subject to availability and applicable registration deadlines.

Future Event Credits: If a transfer cannot be accommodated, a registration credit may be issued for use during the following Prodigy Dance Convention season. Credits expire after one year and cannot be extended or carried forward.

Event credits are valid exclusively toward dancer registration for Prodigy Dance Convention and cannot be applied to Prodigy Dance Championships or other Prodigy programs.

All transfers and credits are issued at Prodigy's discretion. Once a transfer or credit has been processed, the transaction is considered final.

Cancellations & No-Show Policy

Participants who are unable to attend their registered event must notify the Prodigy team by email before the event begins to remain eligible for any applicable transfer or registration credit.

Failure to attend without providing advance notice will result in the participant being classified as a no-show. No-show registrations are not eligible for refunds, transfers, or future event credits, regardless of the circumstances.

To request a cancellation, transfer, or credit, email admin@prodigydancetour.com before the scheduled event begins. Please include the dancer's full name and registered event.

Simply failing to attend does not constitute a cancellation. Once an event has begun, unused registrations are forfeited and cannot be transferred or credited.
